Safety is Special Wins Circle of Excellence Award

SEDA’s marketing insert in the August issue of Occupational Health & Safety magazine won first place in the Public Relations category of the Maryland Society of Association Executives’ 2003 Circle of Excellence Awards.  The marketing piece, Safety is Special, That’s Why SEDA Members are Safety Specialists, promotes the value of working

with safety equipment distributors in solving companies’ PPE problems. The insert was sent to OH&S’s circulation of 85,000 readers.

SEDA Members Approve By-Laws Change

SEDA’s distributor members recently voted to change the SEDA by-laws in order to modernize them and encourage new SEDA members to join the organization. The amendments consist of a change to allow distributor members to be headquartered outside of North America and a change to allow the Board to amend the by-laws if a majority of directors approves the amendment. To see the full text of the revised by-laws, go to the SEDA web site at www.safetycentral.org in the Members Only Section.
