McGivern Promoted to Vice President/Sales; Rivkin to Vice President/Marketing

Saf-T-Gard International, Inc. is proud to announce the promotion of Daniel M. McGivern to Vice President/ Sales. McGivern is now be responsible for the direction of all domestic US Sales in all markets including the industrial and manufacturing sectors, food processing utilities and contractors, government and domestic preparedness/homeland security. McGivern first joined Saf-T-Gard in 2001 as National Sales Manager.

Additionally, Saf-T-Gard is proud to announce the promotion of Loren S. Rivkin to Vice President/ Marketing. Rivkin, working along with McGivern, will direct marketing, business development and strategic planning activities for the company, including product development, product management, market research, and marketing/advertising/promotional campaigns.

Rivkin first joined Saf-T-Gard in 1999 as Marketing Manager.
Prior to Saf-T-Gard International, Inc, McGivern was a ten-year veteran of DoALL Company. DoALL is a manufacturer and distributor of industrial supplies and safety items serving manufacturing facilities throughout North America. Previously McGivern served as Marketing and Sales Development Manager for W.W. Grainger, a global provider of MRO supplies.

Rivkin, the great-grandson, of Saf-T-Gard’s founders, Leo and Lillian Rivkin, is the 4th generation of the Rivkin family to be involved in the Saf-T-Gard business. Prior to his joining Saf-T-Gard, Rivkin worked in the radio industry in the Chicago market. Most recently he was Marketing Coordinator for Critical Mass Media, the research and marketing arm of Clear Channel Communications.

Saf-T-Gard International, Inc., founded in 1936 as Latex Glove Company, has evolved from its days as a manufacturer of latex gloves, to a global supplier of industrial safety products and personal protective equipment.

Today, Saf-T-Gard International, Inc. carries on the tradition that was started over 68 years ago: bringing customers the products, training, and service that they need to keep employees safe in the workplace.
