Safety Week Moves to May
|
|
|
Safety Week 2005, the safety equipment
industry’s Annual Conference, will be held in Broomfield, Colorado (a
suburb of Denver) from May 15-17, 2005. The meeting will be held at the
Omni Interlocken Resort, which is located in Broomfield, Colorado, nine
miles from Boulder and ten miles from Denver.
The mid-May dates for the meeting are two
months earlier than Safety Week’s traditional mid-July dates. Member
surveys indicated that May was a better time for the meeting. |
|
Safety Week 2005 will once again be a
combined meeting of the major safety equipment associations: SEDA,
International Glove Association (IGA), the Safety Equipment
Manufacturers Agents Association (SEMAA) and the Canadian Glove
Manufacturers Association (CGMA).
The conference is designed as an
educational and networking opportunity for safety equipment
distributors, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives. The
program will include two days of seminars, one-on-one
manufacturer-distributor executive conferences, table top displays,
networking receptions and a golf tournament.
Speaker topics will include Inventing the
Future with futurist Robert Tucker; tips on training your sales force in
Coaching for Sales Success with sales guru, Tom Reilly; a look at The
New Supply Team – Working Together Electronically with Steve Epner and
tips on Improving the Bottom Line with Al Bates of Profit Planning
Group.
Broomfield is an excellent location for
the next Safety Summit Week. It is 25 minutes from the Denver
International Airport and is close to the cities of Boulder, Golden and
Denver with a spectacular view of the Colorado Rockies. The Omni is
located near the Flatiron Crossing and Flatiron Village with many
options for shopping, dining and entertainment. The Omni also has a
27-hole golf course that is ranked third in the State of Colorado and
will be the site of the Safety Week Scramble Golf Tournament.
Mark May 15-17, 2005 on your calendars now
and plan to attend Safety Week 2005. It’s one of the best investments
you’ll make in your business in 2005. |
